Here are seven ways to build trust in a relationship. Most of the time the things we think of first is not what makes a relationship work. Have you ever thought that you always need to spice things up? Well this is the wrong! In a relationship predictability is more important that variety. To improve the level of trust in a relationship the following seven methods will guarantee growth.

1.  Remember being predictable in the number one thing. This sure goes against the notion to keep the relationship alive you need to stir things up. To make the relationship work you need to keep things consistent and steady. Doing new things together and giving each other gifts is sure a nice but remember to keep the trust in the relationship alive and well you need to be reliable every day.

2.  You must mean what you say. What you say must match the message you want to get across. This means that your body language must match what you say. For example if you are frowning and you say you are excited or happy, your partner will not believe what you said. This means that your words need to match your body language which will build trust in a relationship.

3.  Believe in your partner’s ability. If you don’t believe in your partner, you will not get the trust you need in your relationship. By not believing that your partner is able to do something, shows that you violated the trust in the relationship.

4.  Never keep secrets. By keeping secrets from your partner it will destroy the trust in a relationship. Try to be honest and open to your partner. A lot of energy is spent trying to keep a secret. That energy should be used to build on the relationship and remember what happens in darkness will come to light.

5.  Make sure your partner knows what your needs are. By letting your partner know what your need are will draw your partner closer to you as long as you are not demanding. Shear you feeling with your partner don’t be too selfish. By allowing you partner to guess what your needs are will only create frustration. When your partner better understands you trust is gained in a relationship.

6.  Learn to say no. You don’t have to agree to everything your partner says. By saying no to your partner will help you gain respect from him or her. This will help to build trust in a relationship.

7.  Always pursue growth. Digging into a relationship can cause some pain. Prepare for future growth throw the pain. Don’t be terrified of confusion, predicaments, or questions because these become the stimulant for change and growth.

You will encounter some pain when you work on the trust in a relationship. But you will become a stronger individual when you work through the pain and strengthen the bond.
